I heard it on good Authority that Ogun State Government Account has been credited since Thursday November 1. The whole world should know that this money came in at a time there is still serious crisis in Ogun APC and some people particularly those in government are planning to join DPP.
I'm calling the attention of well meaning individuals and the whole world to the fact that while other States are making announcement as to the receipt of this money, Ogun Government has remained silent.
It is on record that Ogun government has received bailouts from the Federal Government in addition to 3 previous tranches of Paris Club refunds without paying a kobo out of it to the former local government political functionaries who are entitled to Severance Allowance. This fourth one is the last and from all indications, this kind of huge money will never come again in this administration. I therefore appeal to the State Government to please without further delay clear the outstanding Severance Allowance of the 2 sets still pending. The figure is a bit over #2.6bn and 8 categories of people are the beneficiaries.
Going down the memory lane, I vividly remembered in 2011 when PDP crisis reared its ugly head, the then Governor got some money which he could have used in settling the Severance Allowance, but instead used some to pay the Teachers deductions and used the rest on PPN. With all the efforts he made PPN still lost the election.
Experience is the best teacher.
Please pay us Sir without being selective our dear Governor.
